This Sunday morning Kavi will be back in Dublin to record a live session with Simon Hayes at dawn— doors will be open to a restricted number of people.
Stitching together electronica cuts and ambient textures, Simon Hayes will be real time editing and re–sequencing tracks, clawing up the walls to a climax of forced noise and raw tech–heavy rhythms until liquid–metal is oozing from your eye sockets. Draped in Kavi’s obscure imagery, the backdrop will be closely linked to the audios every twist and turn as the duo combine forces with one common goal… to melt your brain…
Kavi (Latvia)
Kavi is a multi–media visual artist working mainly in live video streaming. Originally from Latvia, Kavi lives in the UK at the moment, but has been actively involved in the Dublin club scene hosting Visual performances and working closely with such collectives as Alphabet Set, Stasis and Parastate999. These collectives have previously organized multi–disciplinary performances at The Shed(2007) involving live music composers, dancers, artists and live visuals.
