Diarmuid Mac Diarmuida
I’m working on putting together a semi–regular experimental salon in The Shed over the coming months. It’s called Earthquack and the tagline is “Failure is an option”. A
number of acts who are already experimental / improvisational / challenging are already lined up for it, but I think it would be especially interesting to have more straight–ahead artists trying out their wackiest ideas… let me know. First night was on the 20th of last month and featured Zorilla.

Laura Sheeran— Fovea Hex
Laura Sheeran is part of the hermetic mystery that is Fovea Hex, luckily she’s a lot more visible performing her own material. “I write music mainly for my own solo adventures. But I am also a singer in the ‘not so quite’ collective Fovea Hex, based in Dublin (and rest of world). Other contributers to this project include Michael Begg, Carter Burwell, Roger Doyle, Brian Eno, Roger Eno, Robert Fripp, Percy Jones, Cora Venus Lunny, Donal Lunny, Andrew Mckenzie, Sarah McQuaid, Hugh O’Neill, Colin Potter, Lydia Sasse, Clodagh Simonds and Steven Wilson.
