Peaceable Kingdom
Peaceable Kingdom is a 2004 documentary film produced by Tribe of Heart. It is about a group of individuals, formally employed in the beef and dairy industries, who are involved in Farm Sanctuary, an animal protection organization. Founded in 1986 by Gene Baur and Lorri Bauston, the project was originally funded through the sale of vegatarian Hot–Dogs at rock concerts. The first animal rescued was a sheep named Hilda, who was from a pile of dead animals behind a stockyard. Farm Sanctuary’s budget is currently over five million dollars, with funding coming from, among other sources, a donor club named after Hilda. They currently run two rescue centers, a 175 acre farm in Watkins Glen, New York with over 800 animals and a 300 acre farm in Orland, California housing more than 400 animals.

Aliberation
Aliberation is a Dublin based Animal Rights/ Abolitionist/ Liberation group. Our aim is to inform the public about respecting the rights that nonhuman animals have: The right not to be murdered; the right to freedom, the right to bodily integrity and the right not to be considered property. To further this aim, our work consists of:
- Changing mentalities and preconceived ideas about animal exploitation.
- Promoting the Vegan Lifestyle.
We promote our aim by sending our message across all spectrums; from a grassroots level to a governmental level. From the PC to the street we actively urge different individuals, shops, businesses, industries and politicians to abolish animal exploitation. We educate the public about respecting animal (both human and nonhuman) rights through literature, events, conversation, video and correspondence, etc.
